About The Position

Volt is hiring a TIG Welder in Clarksville, Tennessee. The role involves welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe, including pipe-to-pipe welding, and fabricating pipe assemblies. The successful candidate will inspect weld quality and pipe alignment, follow safety and quality standards, maintain a safe and clean work area, and complete basic documentation and training. This is a full-time contract opportunity.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience welding carbon-steel and stainless-steel pipes.
• Ability to perform pipe-to-pipe welding with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MIG welding.
• Experience fabricating spool pieces and industrial piping systems.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or pipe fabrication environments.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld carbon-steel and stainless-steel pipe.
• Weld couplings, outlets, and fittings.
• Fabricate pipe and assemble spools.
• Inspect weld quality and pipe alignment.
• Use tape measures and basic tools.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Report equipment and safety issues.
• Work in a team environment.
• Complete basic documentation and training.
• Participate in weld testing and quality inspections.
