About The Position

Ticket Lobby Hosts greet guests as they enter the Ruby Falls Ticketing Atrium and provide information as guests purchase tickets. The role requires a cheerful, outgoing demeanor when interacting with guests and team members. Hosts assist with ticketing and other front-line operations, and help coach and advise front-line team members. Duties may also include guiding tours, driving a 15-passenger van, and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

Must be at least 25 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.
Must complete a background check.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Ability to count, add, subtract, give accurate change, and keep money organized.
Ability to read, interpret, and respond to necessary documents.
Ability to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
Ability to input and access data on a computer and perform assigned duties accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, coworkers, and management.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with a team and solve problems as they arise.
Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift, grab, press, and push to perform essential duties; lift and carry up to 40 pounds; and bend, reach, and stoop.

Nice To Haves

Previous front desk or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with ticket purchases, refunds, questions, and complaints courteously and efficiently.
Ensure the ticketing desk and other areas operate smoothly each day.
Provide excellent customer service in accordance with the Give 'Em the Pickle customer service standards.
Check in groups.
Follow all cashiering procedures.
Announce and load tours.
Monitor tours in the cave.
Provide leadership, support, and supervision to front-line staff.
Understand staff schedules and coverage needs, and cover shifts as needed.
Work as a Tour Guide as needed.
Drive the 15-passenger van as needed.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
