About The Position

Ticket Lobby Hosts greet guests as they enter the Ruby Falls Ticketing Atrium and provide thorough information while guests purchase tickets. They maintain a cheerful, outgoing demeanor with guests and fellow team members and help coach and advise other front-line team members. The role also involves supporting ticketing and tour operations, providing customer service, and performing other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and evenings.
Must pass a background check.
Ability to count, add, and subtract; give accurate change; and keep monies organized.
Ability to read, interpret, and respond to necessary documents.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to input and access data on a computer and perform assigned duties with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, coworkers, and management so they understand.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work with a team and solve problems as they arise.
Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift, grab, press, and push to perform essential duties.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, and stoop.

Nice To Haves

Previous front desk or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests entering the Ruby Falls Ticketing Atrium and provide information as they purchase tickets.
Assist customers with ticket purchases, refunds, questions, and complaints courteously and efficiently.
Ensure daily operations of the ticketing desk and other areas run smoothly.
Provide excellent customer service according to the Give 'Em the Pickle customer service standards.
Check in groups.
Follow cashiering procedures.
Announce and load tours.
Monitor tours in the cave.
Provide leadership and support to front-line staff, including coaching and advising team members.
Understand staff schedules and staffing needs, and cover shifts as needed.
Work as a tour guide as needed.
Drive the 15-passenger van as needed.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
