About The Position

The Thrift Store Associate works in an Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store and supports the organization’s mission of nurturing hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth. The role sells donated items, with profits funding programs and services for youth in Idaho. Associates represent Idaho Youth Ranch, provide customer service, handle sales transactions, and process donated merchandise for sale.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Operate cash registers and credit/check processing equipment.
• Sort, clean, price, and stock donated merchandise.
• Operate pallet jacks, hand carts, lift gates, and other loading and moving equipment.
• Provide strong customer service and create a positive experience for customers.
