About The Position

Sentara is hiring a full-time Scheduler for a day schedule in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The incumbent schedules patient procedures using a computerized scheduling system and is accountable for accurately obtaining required information and ensuring the correct patient and requested procedure are scheduled.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• One year of medical terminology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient procedures in a computerized scheduling system.
• Accurately obtain required information during the scheduling process.
• Ensure the correct patient and requested procedure are scheduled.
