About The Position

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a part-time Therapy Program Director for Meadowview Terrace of Wadesboro, a senior living community in Wadesboro, North Carolina. The role directs clinical assessments, program development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary environment that may include campus locations, home health, and/or outpatient care. The director supports compliance with state licensure requirements, company policies and procedures, professional practices, and ethical standards. Physical Therapist candidates are welcome to apply.

The position includes an orientation personalized to the work environment. The company describes its team as providing ongoing support to employees.

Requirements

• Current, valid state licensure in the respective discipline; must be maintained.
• Degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• At least 1 year of experience delivering skilled rehabilitation services.

Nice To Haves

• Current, valid CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapy programs and protocols aligned with the facility’s mission, goals, and standards of care.
• Supervise and mentor therapists, offering guidance, support, and performance evaluations to promote high-quality patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate therapy programs for compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices.
• Manage staffing, equipment, budget, and other resources supporting therapy services.
• Organize ongoing training and professional development for therapy staff.
• Analyze program data and outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to improve program effectiveness and patient satisfaction.
• Deliver skilled rehabilitation services within the scope of the applicable therapy discipline, credentials, and/or license.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
