About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician to fill our opening at our Day Neuro Facility in Dallas. This role involves assisting with comprehensive rehabilitation in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. A valid driver's license is required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of hospital experience as a therapy aide.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care under a therapist's direction, including transfers and toileting.
• Perform infection control cleaning.
• Conduct light equipment maintenance.
• Transport patients to and from the clinic.
• Provide assistance with light clerical tasks at the front desk.
• Set up patients for therapeutic activities.
• Facilitate exercise groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
