About The Position

Denver Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring an Inpatient Therapist for a day schedule. The role supports the organization’s mission to make communities healthier and provide exceptional care. Candidates must have lived experience serving, working with, or belonging to the target population. Examples may include military veterans, former law enforcement professionals, or people with extensive knowledge of the population and demonstrated cultural competence; veteran status is not required. The Therapist assesses patients’ psychosocial needs, collaborates with healthcare teams on treatment plans, counsels and supports patients and families facing mental health challenges, connects patients with community resources, and advocates for patients’ rights and equitable care. The hourly rate range is $32.19–$43.46. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to external applicants who commit to 24 months. The application deadline is 12/25/2026.

Requirements

Lived experience serving, working with, or belonging to the target population; demonstrated cultural competence and extensive knowledge of the population may qualify. Veteran status is not required.
Current state LMSW or LCSW license.
Master’s degree from an accredited school.
Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience preferred.
ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ psychosocial needs and understand their emotional, psychological, and social situations.
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Provide counseling and support to patients and families facing mental health challenges.
Connect patients with community resources and services, such as support groups and housing assistance.
Advocate for patients’ rights and ensure they receive equitable care within the healthcare system.
