About The Position

Mesilla Valley Hospital is seeking a full-time Inpatient Therapist to join its behavioral healthcare team. The position is scheduled for days, Friday through Monday, and clinical supervision is available. The therapist provides services that help patients meet biopsychosocial needs and achieve their optimal emotional health. Services include consultation, teaching, individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, and information and referrals as needed.

Mesilla Valley Hospital is a 120-bed facility that has operated since 1987, providing behavioral healthcare and substance abuse treatment to residents of New Mexico, West Texas, and Arizona. It works with medical-surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals, and agencies to support integrated care.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field.
• Possess one of the following New Mexico licenses: LPC, LMSW, LAT, LMHC, LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year of clinical and chemical dependency counseling experience is preferred.
