About The Position
Signet Health manages behavioral health services at Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas. The center is a new, free-standing psychiatric hospital. The PRN Therapist works on-site on weekends, providing assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team while maintaining compliant case records.
Requirements
- Hospital experience with children, adolescents, and/or adults is required.
- Unencumbered Texas license as an LMSW, LCSW, or LPC; LPC-A will be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of inpatient psychiatric experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments.
- Provide mental health counseling to individuals, groups, and families.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain case files and other records in strict compliance with policy, DNV, and The Joint Commission regulations.
- Coordinate treatment planning.
- Communicate with the interdisciplinary team in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
