About The Position
Signet Health manages behavioral health services for Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas. The center is building an interdisciplinary team that uses evidence-based treatment modalities to provide therapeutic services. This is an on-site, full-time therapist position at a new freestanding psychiatric hospital. The role serves children, adolescents, and/or adults.
Requirements
- Two years of inpatient psychiatric experience.
- Hospital experience with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- Hold an unencumbered Texas license as an LCSW, LPC, LMSW, or LPC-A.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments and groups.
- Provide mental health counseling to individuals and families.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Ensure documentation is timely, recorded in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and compliant with DNV, CMS, and other regulatory agencies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Communicate effectively with the team and other departments.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
