About The Position

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas.
• Associates degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Must be licensed in Texas in Speech Language Pathology with certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Master's or Doctoral degree from accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Requirements necessary to begin Clinical Fellowship Year.
• At least 300 clock hours of supervised clinical treatment (as required by ASHA Plan A or 350 clock hours of supervised clinical treatment as required by ASHA Plan B).
• Must be licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas
• Associate’s degree from an accredited academic program for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant from A.O.T.A. and Texas licensure.

Nice To Haves

• Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association strongly recommended.
• Prefer experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required.
• Prefers experience providing direct service to adults with ABI but not required.
