About The Position
The Speech Therapist performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for assigned patients in accordance with departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals. This is a PRN position at Mercy in Fort Smith. The therapist must be able to respond to emergency situations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
- Current or provisional Speech Language Pathologist license in the applicable state of practice.
- Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association within one year of hire; extensions are at the discretion of the leader and clinical fellowship supervisor.
- BLS certification.
- Required certifications must be current before providing care to patients independently.
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
