About The Position

NEXT Speech Therapists care for people with speech, language, social, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders that adversely affect their ability to enjoy life. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you work as part of a team to provide solutions through creative, compassionate care. The role supports people living in independent, assisted, and memory care communities, with the goal of helping them remain active and engaged and enjoy life to the fullest.

Successful team members bring a positive, approachable attitude and a desire to connect with people; use flexibility and creativity in care delivery and therapy plans; help patients achieve meaningful outcomes in their daily activities; and serve as a resource to patients and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Outgoing, personable, and confident.
• Exceptional communication skills and coachability.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• State licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
• Working knowledge of Medicare documentation and billing/coding practices.
• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.

Nice To Haves

• CCC-SLP preferred.
