About The Position

Denver Springs is seeking an Inpatient Therapist to provide care as part of Lifepoint Health’s healthcare network. The role focuses on supporting patients with mental health challenges by assessing psychosocial needs, developing treatment plans with healthcare teams, providing counseling, connecting patients with community resources, and advocating for equitable care. Lived experience serving, working with, or belonging to the target population is required; veteran status is not required. Candidates may include military veterans, former law enforcement professionals, or people with extensive knowledge of the population and demonstrated cultural competence.

The position is scheduled for days. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to external applicants who commit to 24 months. The stated hourly rate range is $32.19–$43.46.

Requirements

• Current state LMSW or LCSW license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited school.
• Lived experience serving, working with, or belonging to the target population; demonstrated cultural competence and extensive knowledge of the population may qualify. Veteran status is not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ psychosocial needs, including their emotional, psychological, and social situations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams to support comprehensive care.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families facing mental health challenges.
• Connect patients with community resources and services, such as support groups and housing assistance.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and equitable care within the healthcare system.
