Equip Health
•$71,000 - $95,000•Remote

About The Position

Equip is hiring a Licensed Therapist to provide virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment to patients and families in Hawaii. The therapist works closely with a multidisciplinary care team—including nutrition, medical, psychiatry, and mentorship—and delivers evidence-based care, maintains quality documentation, and continually assesses patients’ and families’ needs. Treatment may include family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), CBT for ARFID, and other appropriate modalities for patients across the lifespan and with co-occurring diagnoses. This is a fully remote role. The therapist maintains a caseload of 30–40 patients, with an expectation of 20–26 hours of direct care and remaining time devoted to administrative tasks. The position requires availability for 30 hours per week of direct patient care, including at least 16 hours after 2 p.m. in the patient-care time zone, and availability until 8 p.m. two evenings per week. Working hours are Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the therapist’s patient-care time zone. Attendance at required meetings, supervision, and training is expected. Equip describes the work as emotionally rewarding and inherently difficult, and offers benefits intended to support providers’ well-being and continuity of care. The company is fully virtual and emphasizes diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and equitable access to eating disorder treatment.
