About The Position

Bear Tooth Cafe is hiring hosts and bussers for front-of-house support. The role is suited to candidates committed to excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented approach. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required. On-the-job tools and training are provided. Weekend availability is required.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Have a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.
Be available to work weekends.
Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments.
Have organization and prioritization skills.
Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
Be able to stand and walk for the duration of a shift with minimal breaks.
Be able to lift and carry 30 or more pounds.
Be able to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions.
Be able to bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently.
Be self-motivated and able to manage time and accomplish tasks accurately and efficiently.

Previous restaurant experience.
