About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring enthusiastic, energetic Party Hosts to lead birthday celebrations and group events at its Syracuse, New York location. Party Hosts prepare festive party rooms, welcome families and guests, coordinate activities and food service, and help make each celebration engaging and memorable. They keep events organized and on schedule, assist guests at the end of the party, and reset rooms and supplies for upcoming events.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Able to be on their feet and active for 4–10 hours.
Flexible availability, especially on weekends and holidays, is required.
Comfortable working with children and guests of all ages.
Positive, outgoing personality and an interest in bringing joy to others.

Nice To Haves

Experience in events, customer service, or hospitality.
Basic knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

Set up party rooms with supplies and decorations to create a festive atmosphere.
Welcome birthday families and guests warmly and enthusiastically.
Escort party groups to their designated space and explain what to expect.
Keep children engaged with activities while waiting for other guests to arrive.
Review the party itinerary with a parent or guardian.
Personalize the party experience with special requests or themed details.
Coordinate food, drinks, and cake service at appropriate times.
Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the celebration.
Engage with guests of all ages and create a fun, friendly atmosphere.
Keep the party on schedule and guide transitions between activities.
Help guests gather belongings and pack gifts after the party.
Thank guests and invite them to return.
Reset and clean party rooms for the next celebration.
Restock supplies and prepare attractions for upcoming events.
