About The Position

Popular Maggie's Farm in Middleton is hiring Hosts and Food Runners to join a fun, dynamic team at an extremely busy restaurant. The role suits an outgoing, personable, responsible candidate who enjoys interacting with people and making guests feel welcome. Candidates must be able to stand for the length of their shift, stay highly organized, multitask, and remain gracious and efficient in a fast-paced atmosphere.

As a Food Runner, the employee reads and organizes food tickets, identifies dishes as they are plated, and graciously and efficiently delivers food to guests once all dishes for a table are ready. The role also assists servers as needed and requires effective communication with both back-of-house and front-of-house employees. Hosts are expected to provide a warm welcome and deliver hospitable, efficient service.

This is a year-round position requiring availability 2–3 days per week, for lunch and dinner shifts, including nights and weekends. Pay is $6.75 per hour plus tips, with estimated total earnings of $18–$25 per hour including tips.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be available to work 2–3 days per week, including lunch and dinner shifts.
• Night and weekend availability is required.
• Ability to stand for the length of a shift.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Outgoing and personable, with superb communication skills, confidence, high energy, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to combine efficiency with hospitality, think quickly, and maintain composure under pressure.
