About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring Party Hosts to lead birthday celebrations and group events at its Syracuse, NY location. Party Hosts create enjoyable experiences for guests of all ages by preparing party rooms, welcoming and guiding guests, coordinating activities and food service, keeping celebrations on schedule, and cleaning and resetting rooms afterward. The role involves active, guest-facing work and requires availability especially on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Positive, outgoing personality and a love for bringing joy to others.
Ability to be on your feet and active for 4–10 hours.
Comfort working with children and guests of all ages.
Flexible availability, especially weekends and holidays, is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience in events, customer service, or hospitality.
Basic knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

Set up party rooms with supplies and decorations.
Welcome birthday families and guests, escort them to their designated space, and explain what to expect.
Keep children engaged with activities while waiting for guests to arrive.
Review the party itinerary with a parent or guardian and personalize the experience with special requests or themed details.
Coordinate food, drinks, and cake service.
Maintain a clean and organized environment during celebrations.
Engage guests of all ages and guide transitions between activities to keep the party on schedule.
Help guests gather belongings and pack gifts, thank them, and invite them to return.
Clean and reset party rooms and restock supplies and prepare attractions for upcoming events.
