About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring enthusiastic, energetic Party Hosts in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Party Hosts lead birthday celebrations and group events, helping create enjoyable experiences for guests of all ages. The role includes preparing party rooms, welcoming families and guests, coordinating activities and food service, keeping celebrations on schedule, and cleaning and resetting rooms afterward. Hosts should enjoy working with children and creating a fun, friendly atmosphere.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Able to be on their feet and active for 4–10 hours.
Flexible availability, especially on weekends.
Comfortable working with children and guests of all ages.

Nice To Haves

Experience in events, customer service, or hospitality.
Basic knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

Set up party rooms with supplies and decorations to create a festive atmosphere.
Welcome birthday families and guests, escort the group to its designated space, and explain what to expect.
Keep children engaged with activities while waiting for other guests to arrive.
Review the party itinerary with the parent or guardian and accommodate special requests or themed details.
Coordinate food, drinks, and cake service at appropriate times.
Maintain a clean and organized environment during celebrations.
Engage with guests of all ages and guide transitions between activities to keep the party on schedule.
Help guests gather their belongings and pack gifts after the party.
Thank guests and invite them to return.
Clean and reset party rooms and restock supplies for upcoming events.
Prepare attractions for upcoming events.
