About The Position
Work with a team of students and faculty to create scenery for the theater department’s productions. This is a student employee position (non-exempt) within the Theater Department's Production Unit at St. Olaf College. The wage range is $12.00-13.00/hour.
Requirements
- Dependable and willing to learn
- Able to work as a team
Nice To Haves
- Theatrical and/or woodworking experience helpful, but not necessary
Responsibilities
- Building scenery using an assortment of power and hand tools
- Painting scenery
- Installing scenery on the Kelsey or Haugen stages
- Finding or building props as needed for department productions
- Assisting in keeping the theaters and storage areas organized
