Theater Runner- S+R
About The Position
The Theater Runner is responsible for delivering food, alcohol, and beverages to guests efficiently during the movie. This role also involves assisting servers with guest needs, clearing tables, familiarizing oneself with the food menu and theater layout, and answering guest questions. Additionally, the Theater Runner will be responsible for cleaning and setting up auditoriums, maintaining the runner station, carrying dishes to the kitchen, completing housekeeping duties, and assisting with opening/closing procedures. The role requires supporting other operational areas as needed and maintaining a professional appearance.
Requirements
- Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate with guests and accept and deliver drink orders.
- Must be at least 16 years old (18 years old to serve alcohol with valid alcohol license).
- Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate or other similar license per local code.
- Obtain training certification per company policy.

Responsibilities
- Accurately deliver food, alcohol, beverages, and other items to guests efficiently throughout the movie.
- Assists servers with guest needs, including silverware and condiments.
- Clears tables distraction free throughout the movie using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware.
- Familiarize row/seat numbers and food menu for Theater.
- Communicate with guests and answer basic theater/STRIKE+REEL related questions.
- Clean and set up auditoriums after movie ends.
- Prepare and maintain runner station at drink expo line.
- Carry large loads of dishes to kitchen for washing.
- Support other areas of the operation as necessary, including setup, cleanup, prep work and equipment maintenance.
- Complete housekeeping duties including sweeping/mopping floors, removing trash, and cleaning restrooms.
- Opening or closing of the theaters per opening/closing checklist.
- Assist as needed in other areas as requested by a lead or manager.
- Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance.
