About The Position

The Assistant Theater Manager is responsible for completing weekly theater schedules, maintaining cleanliness of theaters and related areas, and supervising theaters and back of house operations. This role involves coordinating training for new hires, assisting with theater services and occasional food running, and interacting with guests to ensure exceptional food experiences. The Assistant Theater Manager will oversee all theater departmental functions under the guidance of the Theater Manager and assist in other areas as requested. Maintaining uniform standards and a professional appearance is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be proficient in menu knowledge and food service basics
  • Must possess a valid TABC or other legal license to sell/serve alcohol per local code
  • Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate or other similar license per local code
  • Obtain training certification per company policy

Responsibilities

  • Completes weekly theater schedules per labor template and group needs
  • Maintain cleanliness of theaters and theater related areas
  • Supervise theaters and back of house during peak and off-peak hours
  • Responsible for coordinating training of new hires
  • Assist in servicing theaters as needed and running food on occasion
  • Interact with guests to ensure all guests expectations with their food experience are exceeded
  • Oversee all theater departmental functions and other duties as assigned with the guidance of the Theater manager
  • Assist as needed in other areas as requested by a manager
  • Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance
