Textile Sales Associate - Concord - PT

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES GROUP•Elkhart, IN
•$11 - $0•Onsite

About The Position

The Textile Sales Associate receives, sorts, prices, tags, and stocks donated textiles, helping move donations efficiently from the drive-thru to the sales floor and supporting the smooth operation of a fast-paced retail store. The position reports to the Store Manager and/or Production Manager, who evaluates performance annually. The associate is expected to understand Goodwill’s mission, “Empower people to achieve their most abundant life,” and embody its core values: Relentless Pursuit of Excellence, Customer-First Mindset, Humble Confidence, Passion for Mission, and Do The Right Thing. The role has piece-per-hour (PPH) productivity levels with corresponding pay rates. The stated starting rate during training is $11 per hour while working below 80 PPH. Employees have four weeks to reach 80 PPH; coaching and ongoing support are provided if they do not. After eight weeks without reaching the goal, termination may be considered if there are no qualifying open positions, although transition to an available position is the primary aim when possible, unless attendance or other performance issues are being addressed. Reaching 80–90 PPH raises the rate to $15 per hour. Higher rates are $16 per hour for a three-week average of at least 91 PPH and $17 per hour for a three-week average of at least 111 PPH. High performers must maintain their applicable productivity level; a three-week improvement period applies if performance falls below it, and failure to improve may result in performance discussions and pay adjustments. Daily PPH recording is mandatory and failure to record may affect the pay rate. Z-racks count as 100 pieces per rack.
