About The Position

The Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic repairs, removes and installs, cleans, inspects, and replaces power plant system components and accessories. All work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, applicable manufacturer maintenance manuals, company directives, and other approved data. The position requires compliance with safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements, accurate maintenance and repair records, and the ability to inspect completed work and interpret technical documentation. Employees may be required to work flexible hours and different shifts, and are subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents; sponsorship is not currently available.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write, and understand English, as required by the FAA.
Ability to work safely and professionally in compliance with OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and state and federal regulations.
Ability to wear a respirator in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134, without restrictions that would prevent proper use or a proper seal.
U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; sponsorship is not currently available.

Nice To Haves

Power plant license.
Two years of experience as a jet engine technician.

Responsibilities
