Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Work experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, or related environment.
  • This job requires a U.S. Person. A U.S. Person is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3). Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of work experience in the aerospace industry
  • A&P license
  • Experience working with aircraft hydraulics/fuel systems, preferably within a FAA Part 145 MRO environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in CORE continuous improvement initiatives and environmental, health, and safety activities.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to test electrical power units, ensuring all product specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Perform functional and electrical testing using multimeters and other test equipment; monitor tests, record data, and document results for acceptance or rejection.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, machine tools, electronic/manual test equipment, and mechanical measuring devices; load and unload equipment in test beds as required.
  • Collaborate with supervision, support personnel, and other teams to resolve issues, meet production schedules, and achieve team goals.
  • Utilize computer systems such as SAP and Access to enter, retrieve, and manage information for daily activities.
  • Demonstrate safe work habits, maintain a neat and orderly work area, and interface with customers, engineers, or auditors as necessary.
  • In this position, you are required to lift up to 25 pounds.
