About The Position

We are seeking a Test Technician for our second shift manufacturing team. This position supports our 2nd Shift, offering a 10% pay premium while working from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM on a 4/10 work week (Monday to Thursday). Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and the nature of the role, this position requires full-time, 100% onsite work at a BAE Systems facility. At BAE Systems Electronic Systems, you will work on advanced electronics in the aerospace and defense industry, contributing to missions like “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®” and “We Innovate For Those Who Move The World™.”

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics, or written work instructions.
Must work well with a team.
Experience in using Excel.

Nice To Haves

Secret Clearance
Working knowledge of electronic theory and components
Experience in microelectronics and RF testing.

Responsibilities

Performing routine and varied tasks to ensure that production standards are met.
Sets up, calibrates, tests and troubleshoots production assemblies, ranging from simple to complex.
Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed.
Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
