The work schedule is: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime available and/or mandatory on a business need basis. The salary range for this role is $40,691 to $76,318, however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Requirements

  • HS diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) access.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ordnance products and test instrumentation/electronics.
  • Ability to read, understand, and redline testing procedures.
  • Proficiency in preparing data sheets and using formulas in Excel and other software.
  • Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of hand tools and measurement devices (e.g., calipers, micrometers, depth gauges).
  • Familiarity with test equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters).
  • Knowledge of electronics, instrumentation, and the ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Testing Set-up, performance, and evaluation under the guidance of a senior technician.
  • Product performance measurement and data collections.
  • Equipment Preventative maintenance and calibration.
  • Testing Equipment Troubleshooting and Repair
  • Occasionally support failure investigations and developmental testing.
  • All other duties as assigned.
