About The Position

This position is for a Test Technician II on the 2nd shift. The role involves performing functional testing of products according to established procedures, monitoring tests, recording data, and documenting results. The technician will use various tools and equipment, comply with quality systems, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. This role requires adherence to safety and hazardous waste disposal programs, understanding production schedules and quality requirements, and proficient use of computer tools like SAP and work instructions. The technician will also train others, interface with other functional groups, and participate in audits and waste minimization efforts.

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

AS in Electronics Technology education/degree
RF, Digital, Analog Circuit experience
Ability to read schematics
Working knowledge of DMM, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, & Spectrum Analyzer
Basic component level troubleshooting experience

Responsibilities

Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Performs functional testing per part specific pre-established test procedure.
Monitors tests through completion, record test data, and service test equipment as required.
Documents acceptance or failure results.
Demonstrates proper use of simple hand/machine tools, electronic/manual test equipment and mechanical measuring devices.
Performs proper loading and unloading of electronic equipment in test beds.
Complies with applicable elements of quality systems and participates in continuous improvement efforts (ACE).
Meets internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.
Acquires applicable skill/knowledge/certification as required.
Complies with safety and hazardous waste disposal programs.
Follows plans for production schedules and quality requirements.
Understands end use of manufactured products.
Proficiently uses computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
Demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.
Trains others for technical tasks as needed.
Interfaces with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge, or resolve problems related to business issues.
Participates in waste minimization efforts.
Participates in audits.
Requests tools and supplies in accordance with project requirements as needed.
