Test Automation Engineer [Black Budget]

We are seeking Automation testing specialists to join our QA team and contribute to the development of our automation framework and test suite. The role involves designing and implementing automated test suites for functional, performance, and compatibility testing using Unreal Engine 5. Additionally, the successful candidate will integrate these test suites into the CI/CD pipeline, collaborate with the QA team and developers to identify areas for automation, and stay updated with the latest game testing methodologies and automation technologies. A minimum of 3 years of experience in software/game testing and automation, along with strong programming skills in languages such as C++, C#, or Python, are required.

Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for Unreal Engine 5

Design and implement automated test suites covering functional, performance, and compatibility testing

Integrate automated test suites into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and ensure successful builds and deployments

Work with QA team and developers to identify areas for automation, and implement automation strategies as appropriate

Create and maintain automated testing documentation

Stay up-to-date with the latest game testing methodologies and automation technologies, and implement them as appropriate

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software/game testing and automation
• Experience working in a game development environment
• Strong programming skills in C++, C#, python or equivalent
• Understanding and experience with building automation frameworks and tests, including functional, performance, and compatibility testing
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work full-time in Amsterdam, Netherlands
• Unreal Engine 4 or 5 editor proficiency (a plus)
• Knowledge of PC and console game development (a plus)
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and how they can be applied to ensure the highest possible quality and maximum efficiency (a plus)
• Experience with console compliance testing (a plus)
