UI Designer [Black Budget]

We are looking for an experienced UI Designer to join our team at KRAFTON. As a UI Designer, you will collaborate with the game design team to understand the game mechanics and user needs, and develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of UI layouts and interactions. You will also be responsible for creating and implementing UI assets, ensuring consistent visual design across the game, and optimizing the UI for usability and performance. Additionally, you will document design specifications and guidelines and stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends and best practices in the gaming industry.

Collaborate with the game design team to understand the game mechanics, user needs, and goals of the project.

Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of UI layouts and interactions.

Create and implement UI assets, including icons, buttons, menus, and HUD elements, using industry-standard tools.

Work closely with the art team to ensure consistent visual design across the game.

Collaborate on user testing processes and iterate on designs based on feedback and data.

Optimize the UI for usability, accessibility, and performance on PC and console platforms.

Document and communicate design specifications and guidelines to the development team.

Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends and best practices in the gaming industry.

• Experienced UI Designer in AAA PC/Console Development
• Collaborate with game design team to understand game mechanics, user needs, and project goals
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of UI layouts and interactions
• Create and implement UI assets using industry-standard tools
• Work closely with art team to ensure consistent visual design
• Collaborate on user testing processes and iterate on designs based on feedback and data
• Optimize UI for usability, accessibility, and performance on PC and console platforms

• Stay up-to-date with latest UI trends and best practices in gaming industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design skills, preferably in gaming industry
• Solid understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and game development processes
• Proficiency in industry-standard UI design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma
• Experience with Unreal Engine and its UI related tools and integration pipeline
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for First Person Shooter & Open World games
