About The Position

The Territory Service/Stocking Representative services Novo Building Products such as lumber, moulding, and millwork in Lowe’s stores across the assigned territory of Lewes, Middletown, Camden, Dover, and Bear, Delaware. The representative travels to assigned stores on a regular, predetermined call schedule and may also be asked to visit additional stores. The role includes maintaining product inventory and presentation, stocking replenishment orders, processing returns and credits, supporting store personnel, and identifying product and sales opportunities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $23 per hour, with a $2,000 new-hire sign-on bonus paid in four $500 installments after 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, and 12 months, subject to attendance requirements. The position also includes a $380 monthly car allowance, mileage reimbursement, and quarterly and annual bonus potential. Travel expenses are covered under the Corporate Travel Policy. Requirements

High school diploma.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Proof of current auto insurance.
Solid organizational and time-management skills.
Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
Selling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Courtesy, diplomacy, tact, and demonstrated ability to foster relationships based on integrity and professionalism.
Ability to travel overnight or daily to service stores.
Ability to drive to and from stores.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking, bending or twisting, lifting, and pushing or pulling wheeled equipment.

Responsibilities

Travel to assigned stores within the territory on a regular, predetermined call schedule to service them; travel to additional stores outside the assigned territory may also be required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel, including store management, red vest employees, and MST.
Maintain accurate inventory by making focus and cycle count adjustments or notifying customers of necessary changes when appropriate.
Maintain the appearance of company products by cleaning and culling, placing suggested orders, preparing returns and credits, and keeping point-of-purchase materials current and in place.
Train store personnel on the company’s products and services.
Analyze performance, product mix, market conditions, and new product opportunities, and recommend changes when appropriate.
Facilitate store reset activities with the NHC Store Planning Team as required.
Participate in special events such as grand openings, contractor nights, product knowledge training, and company meetings.
Stock replenishment orders within 48 hours of delivery to the store and stock additional stores as needed.
Manage expenses in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
Represent the company with high standards of conduct, professionalism, courtesy, ethics, and a can-do attitude.
