About The Position

As a Surface Experts Sales Representative, your job is to find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are unique, so it will be your job to educate and build a relationship with our customers. Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair service provider. We repair small damage to surfaces like Floors, Countertops, Bathtubs, Cabinets, Appliances, Furniture, Elevator Panels … Almost Everything!. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide incredibly fast service, while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere in our support center and on jobsites. We combine old school skill sets with new technology and products, resulting in a durable and appealing repair all provided with a smile. Our objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship. We focus on saving our customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill. Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours. Our mission is to develop outstanding teams by investing in strong relationships. Together we work to solve our customers’ problems by reducing the waste of time, money and materials which end up in landfills. Our vision is to establish and lead a nationally recognized market for surface repair as an alternative to replacement or complete refinishing. Requirements

  • Goal-oriented, self-starter, and energetic.
  • Enjoys working with other people.
  • Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record.
  • Professional, caring and service-minded.
  • Readiness to work with a metrics-based, process-driven sales team.

Nice To Haves

  • General working knowledge of property management and/or construction industry.
  • Experience using CRM tool and process.
  • Experience working in base + commission environment.

Responsibilities

  • Find and build relationships with customers who work in property management and facilities maintenance.
  • Educate and build relationships with customers on Surface Experts capabilities and limitations.
  • Meet with 10-15 contacts a day.
  • Conduct on-site visits, phone calls, and email follow-ups.
  • Visit a variety of industries including Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc.
  • Develop customer relationships.
  • Validate level of Customer satisfaction and opportunities to improve.
  • Earn the trust with Customers through serving.
  • Brainstorm and research new customer opportunities.
  • Follow Sales Process.
  • Memorize sales scripts and practice role-playing.
  • Document sales activities in CRM; track a client from lead to Work Order and all the steps in between.
  • Report data accurately daily/weekly.
  • Plan and execute sales strategy for territory.
