About The Position

Behr Paint Company is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to manage Behr-related business across five or more Home Depot stores in the Bellevue area. The representative visits stores and serves as Behr’s in-store contact, handling sales, relationship-building, merchandising, ordering, and problem-solving. The role focuses on creating positive interactions and helping Home Depot staff, contractors, and residential customers with their projects. The representative trains Home Depot associates, Behr team members, and the public on Behr products, and may lead in-store classes or demonstrations. Work hours vary according to peak selling times and may include weekends, holidays, and shifts extending until 7 p.m. Merchandising and stocking duties may require occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Proactive approach to selling and creating value for customers.
Ability to build relationships with a variety of people.
Comfort speaking to groups and ability to communicate clearly.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Manage Behr-related business in five or more Home Depot stores in the assigned area.
Visit stores and represent Behr to customers and store teams.
Sell Behr products and build relationships with Home Depot managers and associates, other Behr representatives, professional contractors, and residential customers.
Train Home Depot associates, Behr team members, and the public on Behr’s product line.
Occasionally lead in-store classes or demonstrations about Behr products and their use.
Keep paint chips, brochures, products, and display areas stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Monitor inventory and order colorants, samples, brochures, and other point-of-purchase materials.
Solve problems as needed to support store operations and customers.
