About The Position

The Territory Sales Representative role at Ventri Door Technologies focuses on driving new business opportunities, expanding customer relationships, building pipeline, and delivering sustainable growth across the assigned Stoney Creek and Waterloo territories. This role represents Ventri as a trusted provider of door, dock, gate, access control, and preventative maintenance solutions, with a focus on prospecting and building relationships with customers to improve their safety, compliance, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in construction, service, industrial, facility maintenance, property management, or a related industry
  • Proven track record of prospecting, new account development, pipeline growth, and account management
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to conduct customer meetings, site visits, discovery conversations, and professional follow-up
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn Ventri’s products, services, and solution offerings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple territories, accounts, quotes, and follow-ups
  • Strong computer skills, including CRM and MS Office
  • Ability to work independently with discipline, grit, drive, and accountability
  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, branch, estimating, project management, service, technical, and operations teams

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market research while securing meetings with key decision makers and pursuing new customers and business opportunities.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline by balancing prospecting, customer management, quote follow-up, CRM updates, and internal coordination across the Waterloo and Stoney Creek territories.
  • Build long-term customer relationships through regular communication, post sale follow-up, and ongoing support to improve retention and identify future opportunities.
  • Present Ventri's full range of products and services while identifying opportunities for preventative maintenance agreements, inspections, repairs, upgrades, and modernization.
  • Conduct customer meetings and site visits, asking thoughtful discovery questions to understand operational needs, safety, compliance, risks, budgets, and priorities.
  • Coordinate quoting and proposals with internal teams by providing complete customer, site, and project information to ensure accurate estimates and seamless handoffs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates, providing regular visibility into opportunities, risks, and next steps.
  • Follow up consistently on open quotes, proposals, and customer opportunities.
  • Support proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing activities.
  • Build strong relationships with branch teams, including Branch Managers, Estimating, Project Management, Service, Technical, and Operations.
  • Gather and share market intelligence, customer feedback, competitor activity, and field insights to support continuous improvement.
