About The Position

Territory Sales Managers for Modern Mill will cover the mountain regions and must live within the area of Denver, Salt Lake City or surrounding area, work in local communities to help create new business and develop repeat business for sales of ACRE by Modern Mill. A true hunters mentality is required.

Requirements

  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales process experience, particularly in consultative selling and negotiation
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel overnight
  • Overnight travel of up to 20%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a target /conversion list of dealers, architects, builders, remodelers, and contractors / installers
  • Maintain aggressive end user call schedule throughout the year; meet with end users to generate awareness and understanding of Modern Mill’s existing and new products
  • Provide in-field training and demonstrations to builders, remodelers, installers, and other end users as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain relationships with select dealers and their dealer sales representatives (key dealers in the geography)
  • Schedule and conduct field sales calls with the dealer and distribution representatives
  • Train dealer and distributor representatives
  • Respond to end-user questions and inquiries about products, product availability, applications, and terms on a timely basis
  • Actively participate in the resolution of customer concerns. Assist in the warranty claims process by sending information to the Product Team / Quality Team as needed and being an active voice of the customer
  • Participate in local trade shows, cold call potential builders, contractors, and architects.
  • Generate, track and coordinate opportunities (leads) with the appropriate local dealers/distributors and their sales representatives; Track these activities in CRM
  • Prepare sales analysis reports; Maintain and update calendar reflecting all appointments and schedules. Create and maintain customer records using our automated systems (i.e., CRM)
  • Keep Modern Mill HQ team informed of key issues / changes occurring in assigned territory such as: competitor programs / products / actions, changes in customer personnel, etc.
