About The Position

The Territory Manager (TM) is a field-based Medtronic Endoscopy sales position responsible for calling on healthcare organizations, primarily hospitals, within a defined geographic territory. The territory is primarily Nebraska and also covers parts of North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. The TM serves as a customer-facing product expert, educating physicians and nurses about the clinical advantages and use of the GI product portfolio. The role focuses on expanding product utilization through market development and sales activities, delivering clinical knowledge in gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary anatomy, developing customer relationships, and supporting optimal use of products across healthcare providers. The TM is also responsible for developing clinical expertise, successfully launching new devices, and achieving sales targets. The position includes customer education and demonstrations, collaboration with internal and extended sales teams, sales planning and forecasting, reimbursement knowledge, and administrative work such as Salesforce updates, expense and sales reports, and required online training. Success is evaluated through sales results, product adoption, clinical expertise, customer feedback, collaboration, development of Centers of Excellence and Key Opinion Leaders, and responsible travel spending.
