About The Position

Superior Glove Works Ltd. is currently seeking a Territory Manager, which is based out of their home office, and whose territory covers part of Texas and all of Louisiana USA. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, Western USA, the Territory Manager will proactively focus on business development and growth within the assigned geographic area. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years business to business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in an industrial work safety products market.
  • Post secondary education in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Proven record of sales success and history of sales accomplishments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Goal-oriented and driven self-starter who can work independently within a team environment and strives to be the best
  • Proven experience in driving opportunities through project management
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Internet navigation
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts
  • Valid passport and driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to travel frequently within defined territory and work from home
  • Ability to travel to our headquarters in Ontario Canada for onboarding and annual sales conference
  • Must be able to work the occasional weekend

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM tools is an asset
  • Established relationships in industry and/or territory would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Planning and working within a defined territory on stated company sales objectives with a minimum amount of supervision and guidance
  • Growing current business of distributor accounts and actively seeking new business
  • Effectively and proactively communicating with external and internal customers to facilitate achievement of company goals and targets
  • Follow all company policies, federal and state requirements
  • Develop and maintain in depth product knowledge
  • Demonstrate mastery of sales skills by generating interest and cultivating business relationships to meet or exceed budgeted volumes and contributions
  • Support sales objectives and goals set annually by leadership by driving ongoing projects and activities
  • Remain current with all administrative tasks to support success
  • 50% - 60% travel required
