About The Position

Woodward Park City is a year-round world-class action sports facility seeking a Terrain Park Hand Crew member for the summer season. This role is essential to the Parks and Innovative Environments team, supporting build and maintenance efforts to create safe, innovative, and consistent terrain. The employee will operate and maintain assigned parks, contributing to a culture of fun and progression.

Requirements

• Bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in an outdoor, all-season environment
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Ability to work overnight shifts
• Ability to ski/snowboard to locations on the mountain as needed
• Must pass a criminal background check after a position is accepted

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years ski area operations experience
• 1-2 years of freestyle terrain experience
• Basic understanding of snowmaking
• Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, work as part of a team, and lead teams in achieving goals

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external build teams with innovative problem-solving
• Assist in maintenance, repairs and construction of bike parks
• Support Snowmaking plan
• Install and maintain Terrain Park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and banners
• Supply quality and productive feedback to the team
• Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks of parks and innovative environments
• Complete daily logs
• Safely operate equipment assigned
• Understand and communicate "Your Responsibility Code" and "Smart Style" to guests
• Daily trash and debris pick up and removal
• Report injuries to ski patrol and assist when needed
• Help secure the site
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills
• Support operations as needed
