About The Position

The Tennis Pro teaches private and group tennis lessons and implements Life Time's Play Learn Love and SMART (Juniors) methodologies. The role grows a personal book of business and revenue in support of department financial goals, while providing member-centric customer service that encourages repeat business and referrals.

The Tennis Pro develops safe, professional, and comprehensive lessons and programs that help students progress along a pathway toward continued involvement and a positive Net Promoter Score. The role monitors, demonstrates, and instructs proper techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve students' tennis games; engages members in programs, tournaments, and special events; and builds a positive image for Life Time Tennis in the community through involvement with schools, community education programs, charities, and fundraisers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 years of experience teaching tennis lessons.
• United States Professional Tennis Association (USTPA) and/or Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) certification.
• CPR and AED certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Promote Life Time Tennis in the community through involvement with schools, community education programs, charities, and fundraisers.
