Temporary Staffing Coordinator
About The Position
HireQuest Northwest is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Staffing Coordinator to join our Vancouver team on a temporary basis. As the first point of contact for many of our workers and clients, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience while helping keep our branch running smoothly. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in staffing, recruiting, and workforce operations while working alongside an experienced team.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service, staffing, recruiting, administration, or office support is preferred
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet walk-in applicants and clients
- Provide exceptional customer service to workers and clients
- Schedule interviews and onboarding appointments
- Respond to questions from Field Team Members and clients
- Guide new employees through the onboarding process
- Verify I-9 documentation and employment paperwork
- Upload and maintain employee records within company systems
- Assist with background checks and compliance requirements
- Ensure worker files remain complete and accurate
- Assist with dispatching workers to job assignments
- Contact workers regarding available assignments and schedule updates
- Follow up on attendance, availability, and required documentation
- Help maintain a reliable workforce ready for placement
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation
- Assist with payroll, timesheets, invoicing, and other branch administrative tasks
- Support branch operations and special projects as needed
