About The Position

The Tenth Judicial District is seeking a full-time Temporary Court Operations Clerk for the Anoka County Court Administration team within the Records Division. This role involves performing routine and limited scope court operations work, including scanning, imaging, and data entry of documents. Responsibilities also include retrieving and filing case files, setting up and maintaining documents, files, records, and reports related to court activities. The clerk will input, update, or delete information in the electronic case management system, copy, scan, and distribute documents, image original documents into digital files, and assign appropriate security levels. Additionally, the position requires managing, handling, indexing, storing, maintaining, returning, and destroying court exhibits and documents in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent, and six (6) months of relevant job experience or education.
  • Ability to learn policies and procedures in area of assignment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain an accurate record filing system.
  • Ability to learn court automated information systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters and files appropriately and in compliance with all applicable court rules, policies, and statutes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others within and outside of the Minnesota Judicial Branch.

Responsibilities

  • Input, update, or delete information in electronic case management system; copy, scan, and distribute documents including imaging original documents into digital files; assign appropriate security levels for documents; manage, handle, index, store, maintain, return, and/or destroy court exhibits and documents per policies and procedures.
  • Other administrative duties assigned.
