About The Position

This position is for a 3-day summer camp. This position will provide-only support to program participants. Must be available to work the full duration of the camp. Counselors will accompany students to/from meals, facilitate and supervise daytime events, social/recreational activities. This will include driving program vans to off-campus sites. Counselors are expected to provide general guidance, support, motivation and serve as a mentor for camp participants. This posting is only open to Quillen College of Medicine students and students in the EQUIP Pathway Program.

Requirements

Must be available to work the full duration of the camp.
Must be a Quillen College of Medicine Student or EQUIP Pathway Program student.
Required to attend all RHSMC sessions.
Required to lead/participate in certain RHSMC sessions.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to exhibit a level of professionalism expected of medical students.
Supervise assigned groups of students.
Be timely and Responsible.

Responsibilities
