About The Position
The Stylist serves as a trusted and knowledgeable advisor, helping customers select products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle. The role helps customers discover and express personal style and shows them how to incorporate Kate Spade products into their existing wardrobe. The position combines customer engagement and styling with sales and business responsibilities. It includes offering knowledgeable product guidance, creating complete looks, supporting purchase decisions, maintaining operational standards, and contributing to a collaborative team. The schedule must accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days. Requirements
- Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, depending on the market.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently and demonstrate strong product knowledge.
- Listen actively and ask follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
- Provide styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks.
- Show creative ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
- Reinforce customer choices and invite customers to return.
- Drive results through customer connections and storytelling.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and product attributes across categories.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner.
