About The Position

The Lane Bryant Associate creates a hospitable store environment through customer engagement that contributes to achieving Company goals. The role involves understanding customer needs, sharing product, fit, and fashion knowledge, and building lasting customer relationships. The associate also supports store operations, prioritizes tasks around customer and business needs, protects company assets, and maintains a safe work environment while following company policies and applicable employment laws.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency and confidence using mobile technology, such as registers and iPads, to engage with customers.
• Ability to adjust or move store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds frequently, in all directions; may occasionally need to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance as available.
• Ability to frequently retrieve merchandise stored or displayed above shoulder level, including climbing a ladder up to 12 feet; may occasionally replace overhead lightbulbs or signs using a ladder up to 12 feet.
• Must work a minimum of two shifts weekly and two weekends a month.
