About The Position

The Lane Bryant Associate creates a hospitable store environment through customer engagement and contributes to the achievement of Company goals. The role involves helping customers identify products suited to their needs, representing the brand through knowledge of products, fit, and fashion trends, and supporting store operations. Associates plan and prioritize tasks around customer and business needs, protect company assets, maintain a safe work environment, and follow company policies and applicable employment laws.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency and confidence using mobile technology, such as registers and iPads, to engage with customers.
• Ability to frequently move store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions, and occasionally move items weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance as available.
• Ability to frequently retrieve merchandise above shoulder level, including climbing a ladder up to 12 feet; occasionally use a ladder up to 12 feet to replace overhead lightbulbs, signs, and similar items.
