About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network. This customer-focused, front-line role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions, provides a welcoming and reliable experience, learns about customer needs, and introduces relevant products, services, and digital tools. The role connects customers with bankers for more detailed product discussions and works closely with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and a consistent customer experience. It provides foundational retail banking experience and opportunities for career growth through Wells Fargo training, coaching, and team-based support.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Deliver a positive and reliable branch experience by accurately processing transactions and engaging customers with care.
Process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, use active listening to clarify needs, and provide straightforward solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues in a timely and effective manner.
