About The Position
This position is responsible for providing a best-in-class customer experience while processing transactions, servicing existing and potential customers, and contributing to branch sales goals. The role performs basic customer and cash transactions, balances cash daily, identifies referral opportunities, follows applicable banking laws and regulations, and escalates risks through proper channels. It also requires building knowledge of the bank’s products, services, and other lines of business, and adapting to changing digital channels. The position is supervised by the assigned leader of the branch. Shifts may vary depending on business need. The role requires standing for extended periods and lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound business judgment.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Flexible and able to adapt to change.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift objects up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Provide an excellent customer experience.

- Adhere to applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.
- Identify risk and escalate concerns through proper channels.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products and services, including other lines of business.
- Learn and adapt to changing digital channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
