About The Position

Nevada State Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., is hiring a part-time Teller (Client Service Associate) for its Twain / Jones branch in Las Vegas, Nevada. The role processes client transactions accurately and in compliance with bank policies and procedures while maintaining an acceptable balancing record. It also supports clients with a range of banking services, resolves problems, and identifies opportunities to recommend bank products that meet clients’ needs. Branch hours are Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Some cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identify and address clients’ needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing or activating ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, and receiving loan payments.
• Resolve clients’ problems through direct action or referral to other branch or bank resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities by exploring clients’ needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
